The Pay It Forwards: Encouraging others to be kind

Two men from Halifax, Canada ingeniously labelled as "The Pay it Forwards", a name now known as the unidentified men roaming the streets making people feel better through simple, random acts of kindness.
“Around Christmas time we came up the idea of just doing random acts of kindness for people but we wanted to be anonymous, that’s one of our biggest things is we don’t want our faces or names being out there,” said one of the men.
They begun by going to their local skating oval and helping to tie up skates on people - This proved effective as they moved on to handing out homemade cookies, coffee and timbits (canadian sweets). Whilst there appeared some mixed reactions of the concealed faces, majority of the public expressed gratitude for the simple act that made their day.

The two men say they aspire to expand the movement and will soon begin to hand out business cards, with the hope that each person with a card will in-turn, perform a simple act of kindness for somebody else and pass on the card.

“Yes we love small acts of kindness, little things go a long way but it would be amazing to be able to grow it and eventually, the sky’s the limit. We’d love to be able to build a house for somebody or something like that, really change people’s lives,” said the second man.
