When was the last time you heard someone happy to receive a parking ticket fine?...yeah, I'm not sure either.
Sheena Mareikura, a mother of four children, from Auckland - Drives her 13 year old son from Kawakawa every weekend so he could participate in an award-winning hip-hop group known as 'IDentity'. After parking at St Lukes Mall, being around the corner from her son's dance studio, she was surprised to see a ticket on her windscreen wiper.
Her pain was short-lived as she noticed a second paper slipped under the wiper, saying -
"I notice you got a parking ticket, I'm sure it's the last thing you need especially when your rego expires in a few days, let this cover it. God bless have a great day,' with a $50 note wrapped in it."
Although Sheena admits to it being fair for receiving a parking fine as she noted there were signs everywhere stating the 90 minute parking only, she expresses gratitude for the stranger that really helped her out.
"I appreciate that there are people in this world who have so much love to give to others."
