Recently in the United States, a mother and her six sons shared a unique story together. They each decided to grow their hair for charity. The charity, ‘Children with Hair Loss’ is ‘a non-profit organisation that provides human hair replacements at no cost to children and young adults facing medically-related hair loss’ (according to the website which you can visit HERE). Together they donated just over five meters of hair to the organisation.
The reason why they chose to grow and donate their hair was because of the loss of a family friend, the mother’s friend’s son. Obviously growing their hair out was not easy because doing something extraordinary is always subject to judgement by the uninformed, but the outcome was rewarding, not only for the charity but also for the mother and her sons.
